Citroen dispatch door lock not working

Hi all. Just got this van and drivers door lock is not activating at all. I have removed the lock and tested it in the passenger door and it operates as it should. I have 12 volts to the 4th pin in the lock connector plug. Any ideas where to look for the problem ? I'm guessing possible broken wire but maybe there's s known problem that is common knowledge ? Any advice what to look for and where ?

what year van?
this section is for up to 2006 I believe and vans after may have different wiring to the earlier ones
Anyway i'd be looking at the harness that runs between  body and door on most vehicles
had to do that on the old  Galaxy to sort the CL out.
