Scudo front door open switches

I'm having a problem with interior lights coming on randomly when both doors are closed. There is usually a micro switch plunger button I had thought-but cannot see one anywhere. Any ideas where the door open sensor is located. Thanks

This may be a long shot.... I'm making the assumption that this is when van is moving and vibration is making and breaking.......

As I believe there is a sensor in the door lock/catch that detects if doors are fully shut and then allows doors (central locking)to lock if not fully closed locking does not take place...... (Included sliding door contacts)

I have a funny feeling that interior courtesy lights are linked to that in some manner (as my courtesy light dimmer only activates/goes out when doors fully closed or locked) ........

Common VW fault mostly drivers door with or without central locking(Like my old golf ....courtesy light never worked on drivers door as micro switch was crapped up or broken)

Re: Scudo front door open switches

Seems the sensor is embedded in the door lock mech...had the door apart, with HMV nagging to go shopping so just tidied up the wiring loom and put all back...seems ok so far!
