Door ajar fault

The door open warning kept displaying even when the near side door was closed.
I stopped the problem by wrapping some insulation tape around the bar on the door frame.
Apparently it’s a common fault with the micro switch inside the door not making proper contact so that it thinks the door is open even when it’s closed

I’ve had this problem for over a year tried this tip and hey presto sorted thanks a lot Dabhand
