Hi
I was wondering if anyone knows what colour the Main Beam wire at the switch/stalk end might be? I want to splice in for the switch for the spots relay. Everything else is done and I'm going to use the method through the wing (as mentioned elsewhere on here) to feed through to the cockpit.
I can't find a decent schematic with colours detailed.
Thanks!

Peugeot don't use a colouring scheme for wires - every single wire has a code printed on on it!
The code from the stalk will be PR2, but you could also breakout from the fusebox F12/F13

Thanks for the info, you're a legend!
Will update once finished.

I always found Peugeot its one loom fits all and wiring tend to be there for higher speck models. I take it the vans are not the same.

Right.
Everything is wired up the way I thought it ought to be.... doesn't work.
Two things I've noticed that might be causing the problems.
1) The spots have no earth facility. I have used a pair like that on another vehicle, though and they earthed through the relay, so may not be that.
2) The switch I am using is illuminated and the poles on the back are not really telling me enough. Two lives and two neutrals? again no ground.
Any ideas?

Again I may be misunderstanding but where are you fitting them?
Do they perhaps earth through their mountings?

Good point, but if that were the case they would be well grounded as they are screwed to the upper front valence (part of the body behind grill). I chopped little sections out of the grill to do it.
Right now, I'm a bit stumped.
May have to investigate again in the morning, but trying to think of where to check first.

I'm thinking I need to get those lamps grounded \m/

I would still try a cable from the lamp bodies to a known good earth. Just to totally discount it.
But I am virtually an electrical dunce and have been know to blow thing up.
It's surprising what relatively large sub assemblies can be electrically isolated by modern seam sealing and a few years corrosion.

Did that, still not working. I did use that panel, though, and now you've got me thinking. Will extend to a known, used earth tomorrow. The only things left after that are the relay is duff or I'm a complete spaz at 12v systems. :\

I got away with using the front upper valence as earth, in the end. Found what the problem was, it was a faulty scotch-lock connection to the headlight circuit.
The switch doesn't light up, but the spots work fine on main beam.
Thanks for all your help guys!
