To paraphrase Mark E Smith; if it's me, my sleeping bag and the van, then it's a camper!

Hello and welcome Igor.

To paraphrase Mae West... "Is that a roof vent or are you just glad to meet us?"

My name has its roots in Slavic culture, I'm mid age, lorry driver and in general addicted to traveling on two and four wheels. Is my little van a camper? Good question, let's see:

Re: New member

Looks a very useful van.

Just did a long post asking about your bed supports and lost it!

I suppose you use those central cubby boxes to fill the gap between the seats?

Re: New member

That's gorgeous - it looks in amazing nick for its age. How many miles has it got on it?

My favourite part is your self contained kitchenette, but I'm also eyeing up your rear seats a bit.

I notice you have the sticky out section for the rear seat belt. Could you cut that out and move your kitchenette to gain some valuable extra inches?

Re: New member

Upper part of the central "console",  the armrest box is removable and fit the gap between seats. The mileage is very low, around 48.000 miles. Hard to believe but the van was a spare vehicle at care home and was left into bushes for a long time. Good points: low mileage, bad points: rotten exhaust, rotten subframe and a lot of other parts. Rear seats were originally as a second row of seats in Mazda Bongo.

Nice van big_smile  I've always wondered about these wheelchair vans with the lowered rear floor  hmm  where do you get an exhaust for them ?  I have thought about buying one but was unsure about the exhaust ...

WAV exhausts are expensive - I was getting quotes for £750 for middle & rear box. Went for a 'boy racer' stainless steel custom job with lifetime warranty for £300. tbh suits me better to pay upfront and not have to worry about getting it fixed on the road.
