I sleep well when...

...I'm in my van!
Quick trip down to Cheshire and camped at my mates workshop, 9 hours solid sleep in the back of the van!! Best sleep I've had in months.

Wired up the charging circuit, so will have lights in the back soon!
Also picked up a roll of closed cell foam insulation so might be taking things apart to insulate the floor!!!

Re: I sleep well when...

Snap .... I sleep exceptionally better in the Van ......... So much so I need to set the alarm for anything required before 10.30 am and that's as long as I was bedded down for 10 p.m.

P.S. No Coffee or drinks after 20.... 20.30 hrs though

Re: I sleep well when...

I must still be young at 55. On my third refit and my last two home made beds were a fantastic kip. 95% done this fit so ill tell you later in the year but aye. Better than the home bed but........ Is that as you may have been driving all day and a tad fooked? You also have the satisfaction of going to bed looking at your surroundings thinking "I made this"

I sleep well when I actualy get to sleep.  smile

That means, once I get off, I can sleep on anything and through anything.  It's actualy getting off to sleep that's my problem.  Doesn't matter if at home or in the van.

Count your breathing; one going in, two going out, three going in etc, until you get to ten then start again from one.

Tempted to move the van onto the drive and kip in it one night!!
