smokey engine, fault diagnosis

Today I was driving behind my 2003 1.9d Scudo and noticed that there was a bit blue smoke coming out exhaust constantly, not a lot.

Asked daughter if she had noticed this and she said its always done that. Just wondering if there are anythings I can try to sort myself before getting the pros in?

Anyone any ideas??

Not quick, check regular and maybe once every month with not a lot of oil

Re: smokey engine, fault diagnosis

Maybe try some STP or Wynns oil treatment at next oil change or when You do top ups use 20W50 oil ...............

(Won't stop it burning might just slow it down a bit)

Re: smokey engine, fault diagnosis

Yea on my white one I changed from 5W40 to 15W40 mineral to try to minimise an oil leak I had

I did a complete oil change though so they didn't cross contaminate
