Has anyone ever replaced the springs in the wiper arms? Mine don't have much force anymore and affects the wipers performance a fair bit. I've seen universal springs that for over the arms, but they're a bit ugly. New wiper arms are 70 odd quid a piece from dealers and I'm not £150 bothered. Not seen anything else anywhere though. Any suggestions? Cheers
If in doubt, give it a clout!

Is there any chance you could rob them off other arms .............
I've never changed them but imagine they would have a good bit of tension in them making it a pig or slightly dangerous job
Only thing I've done over the years for more pressure on screen is put a bit of a bend in the arm.......................

I've considered the option of getting wiper arms off a newer model from a scrap yard or something. I'm assuming the newer facelift models have the same wipers

I would imagine So......... take a tape measure and don't rule out the MK1 vans inc face lift as they were all built in same factory and share a lot of Architecture
