About last Sept I decided to fit GPS Tracking so if needed i could keep tabs on van and family could see where we are without the usual texts ETC,
Fitted this above the fuse box..... (Can follow a historical route on line or send text to tracker for co-ordinates)
However we discovered that we were short on power sockets in the front .........Sat Nav, phone charging , ETC
This is connected to the Leisure battery but is not live when engine is running as battery is getting charged and we tend to isolate that battery when sleeping (Habit along with turning gas off) and as I had another buckshee
I took a fused (piggy back) pig tail ?
and crimped it on to the extra power socket........ Found a fuse that powered up with ignition and a handy bolt next to fusebox for earth wire
(can just see tail end of tracker above "piggy back" top right of pic)
I then fed the cable down the side of the dash behind the door seal and into the fusebox
I've yet to stick it down with double sided tape but lives happily at the dash side window

Ive since discovered on removing the face vent that there's a nice void that I can stick the Tracker to under the Dash and shouldn't be to bad to feed from the radio or back to fusebox
