Dispatch 2015yr. DW10CD electrical arcing in engine compartment

Hi,Just tried to unscrew plastic oil filter housing,with 27mm socket when my extension bar touched the alloy fuel filter housing.This resulted in arcing or  grounding.I thought I may have blown a fuse or worse,but all seems ok.Never had this  before whilst changing oil filters.The only thing I can think of is the fact that I still had the ignition key in the column but not switched on.Seems odd that the fuel filter housing was in effect live .Or am I missing something Any advice appreciated
