Fiat SCUDO 1.9D isn`t ignition

Hy guys, today I changed the oil in the engine, after this the diesel filter was dry, and I had to pump the manual ac. I started 3 times the engine, after this the battery was low, and this the battery didn`t rotate the engine. I recharged the battery and the engine is worked. After this, i went to the engine and i adjust one cabel, and the engine is stopped. That was maybe, the gas throttle sensor(Lucas 02-131003) and one cabel was torn. But, the engine isn`t ignition. Maybe the igniton relay is dead? 1week ago was changed for a new one.
Can somebody say something?
Thanks a lot.

With me it was the glowplg relay that was a tad buggered. The pole from the rely to the glow plugs had melted out the circuit board however. In this cold mornings dont try and start it when the light goes out wait till the relay clicks. With me its 27 seconds but i tend to start it after 15-20 seconds after turning ignition on. When warm just start as normal.

Re: Fiat SCUDO 1.9D isn`t ignition

After I had new glow plugs fitted recently I had relay problems afterwards.  Turned out that the cable block connector to the underside of the relay was not connecting fully home.  It initialy pushed on quite tightly and felt conected,  If fact it still required a firmer push to engage correctly.

Might just have been mine but worth a look.  Both the garage and myself had missed it.

Also follow the glow plug cable. It goes up to the right hand side of the plastic manifold. Here it has a nut n bolt joint with the main glow plug direct cable. Why it was designed like that god only knows but that nut may have worked loose giving a crap connection.

I also changed the little box under the relay. I just replaced them from one out a scrap yard van. See a picture of what box i am on about on post 7 here.........  https://dispatchexpertscudo.org.uk/foru … php?id=869
