Exact location of engine code

Hi,

On a 2004 dispatch, does anyone know of the exact location of the engine code identifier?

In my Non turbo DW8/B  it's within the Vin number as "WJY" Other than that on V5 somewhere? ...........
Somthing tells me it's on the block somewhere ... But for the life of me...........

If parts are listed for DW8 is that the same as DWA/B?
