Anyone else on the road this weekend?

I've hit the road and headed off to D&G (again!) this weekend.
Anyone else on the road?

The free site at Caerlaverock looked busy, I carried on towards Glencaple, even then I was sharing a pitch

I'll assume your at the plots oposte the Nith Hotel ... They do half decent Bar food in there ... And while I was in their dinning Room of a Sunday ... Ive watched the Tidal bore Head up the Nith............

If you were to come a little closer and at the round about at the start of the Chrighton grounds.... take first exit to Kingholm Quay and go straight to bottom of road and then right angle turn to right then travel about 200yards [It's after Hannings kitchens and bathrooms..onleft] and on your right is The Swan ......

Inbetween closures and Lockdowns I frequented there .......
Found it very decent food and drink and well priced for eating out ......
Still a favorite to visit about once a month at moment.........

going this way if you were to carry straight on past the Swan eventually after passing the bottom of castle dykes park the kirkpatrick macmillan bridge and the tail end of the Dock park you rise up to pop out at Nithbank Hospital at the 3 way junction that took you up to the old DGRI and that's you back on track as if you were heading into Dumfries from Glecaple.........

This weekend (today) I hope to finish off my cam-belt change - rain (and work and household maintenance) stopped play for most of the last two weeks but I'm now at the "putting it back together and hoping" stage

Couple of nights at Tollymore forest and a night at a caravan park on the Ards peninsula, during the week. Mournes were quiet and windy, but no rain.
Weekend not really a sensible option here

Re: Anyone else on the road this weekend?

Spent a week in D&G a couple of weeks ago, as well as exploring new ground near Dunoon, lovely place, must go back and go further to Bute

This weekend is Whitby, then a trip up to Ayr
