Recognising one another...

A man in a white Mk1 with fitted windows pulled out of the Tesco filling station in Dumfries and looked at me in my van, I think that he was thinking "he's one of us".

Do we need a secret sign or something?

It was only by chance that I accosted kenbw2 in the woods in his blue van.

(Btw, my sticker is on the back doors)

Re: Recognising one another...

My sticker is also on the back door......
If it's not recognisable as a Red rather than white Mk1 dispatch with a roof box Camper with the Graphics...........

But then other than sticker ...... It doesn't mean I'm associated here..........

My Sticker is wherever my wife "Tidied it up to" after I left it out for too long whilst waiting for a clean van and a dry day :-(

Re: Recognising one another...

I always see other DispatchExpertScudos and want to give them a wave until I realise some people aren't as enthusiastic about their vans - I think some see them as ust a means to an end! Amateurs!

Happy to be accosted! Maybe we should do another meet, I enjoyed the Monaive one

Re: Recognising one another...

I still have a bundle of stickers for anyone who wants them.

That includes replacements for any originals that might have been ... relocated  smile

@cliffo - you still at the same address? - happy to fire you one over

@kenbw2 the range of reactions to waving at other vans is hilarious - from completely mystified to people hanging out the window looking for a high five!

Re: Recognising one another...

Most camper vans of any make used to acknowledge each other on the road.  Didn't tend to with motorhomes though.

You would be driving one handed if you tried it now.
