Hi All Newbie here just got myself a 2005 Dispatch 1.9d and looking for some help/advice- my power steering has failed, I have checked the fluid level and its fine if anything a little over filled, any ideas if anything else I can check or will it need a new pump?
I have had a look online for a new pump might cost but apparently my year there is 2 different pumps (2005 dispatch 1.9d) I need to measure the pump and its ether 107mm or 113mm but not really sure how to measure and being honest not sure where the pump is located
Any help would be great

Pump's here, I assume the number is the pulley diameter?

Thanks for the photo , they mentioned the measurement is from the back of the pump to the front of the pulley? would you no if its an easy enough job to replace or a garage job? Thanks

I replaced mine, just a few bolts and the belt.
That could make sense, I know I had issues with how far away from the pump the pulley was.

Something tells me that the power steering pump was changed on our 306 which effectivly is the same engine as our Van A 1.9D non turbo [DW8] .......
A used one from a DW8 Berlingo was fitted [if they used the Berlingo pulley that might answer why it's always the wrong drive belt listed............ Doesn't answer about rear wheel cylinders though] ............
kenbw2's Info has it nailed I recon .......
I wouldn't be surprised if same pump used on a HDI as well...................
