Single passenger seat

Hi All,
I'm wanting to replace my double passenger seat to a single and fit a swivel base in Dispatch 2005, can anyone advise on any seats that will fit?
I have seen some mention mini seats should fit?
I have removed my double seat and to me it looks like i would need a complete seat and base as can't see how i can remove the double seat from the base to just fit a new seat on the base?

any advise would be great, also any tip on removing the lower metal bulkhead? i have undone the 2 bolts at each side and had a go at cutting the seam sealer but not moving.

Crazy £££ yikes and in Germany, i will keep an eye out. Have you heard of any other seats that would fit with a little modification?

Anything from the Synergie/806/Ulysee set will work, and *think* that the C8/807 seats fit too

I fitted a C8 swivel, also the 2007+ expert seats use the same base

Mine seats did, but I'd say the chance of getting one these days are slim.
With the expert 2007+ seats you can get a Fasp swivel plat which works ok.
The actual seats have different pitches but the fixings to the floor are the same. Think of the base being an adapter.
Some on here have made their own base and used a univeral swivel plate. More work, but you can then put on whatever seat you want

Just make sure that the base is included. If not then ask if its available.

Kinda No Brainer really......

My van is a 2005 face lift Dispatch and was converted quite some time ago ..........
When converted it had a Drivers and single passenger Seat from a prefacelift WAV fitted ..................
[Are Taxis fitted with a single front passenger seat?].................

As tee-cee said the base single seat frame was used and I presume ... Both were NOS or something very much like that at the time with their condition even now ......
And on mine They then did a Robust swivel of/on their own .......

Or it looks like it .....

[Things have changed a bit since {Dashboard additions wise] this was taken a few years ago now]

As for the little lower bulkhead at the stage your at with the bolts out ........

Casper and a couple others recons ... A big lump hammer is your best friend now ... and probaly some/A little colder weather ..............
To put paid to the sealer...........

I was lucky to find a single on ebay for little money. I also got won a couple of plates cheap. Shame material never matched but you dont notice when your arse is on the seat big_smile One think to remember if you are tall a swivel plate will add a good 3cm to your height. I ended up taking away the sun visor for more distance vision.

Late when i moved to a larger van i bought to corsa seats and made my own base. There is a company out there called Jennings who make swivel plates. The did two small ones for £130 what was not bad but you need to drill your own mount holes and if drilling through the floor and using the seats own clasps for the belts you will need load spreading plates to keep the MOT man happy

Hi All,
Newbie
Just required a Dispatch XL 57 plate, had a Pug Partner(converted to a day van) previously till the engine decided to go to the scrappy, YES you guessed it got rid off bench seat, got hold off a single seat,but not the base attachment
seen a few threads regarding singles seat on here and what other seat would fit,
my question is would a Berlingo/Pug seat fit the Dispatch?
i no its seem a stupid question seeing i had one previously, but seats seem the same size(i do wear glasses) smile
any thought
