Today I learned I'm an honourary Jock
I've seen those fancy campervan blinds you can get. Me? Nope, cut some squares from a sheet of blackout fabric + staples + magnet = job done

Perhaps we are are all "Jocks" these days.
Made mine same as Casper.
Had a right job getting the gaffer tape to stick to the felt like lining material I used though. I ended up ironing the tape with an iron hot enough to near melt the tape but not quite. Worked very well. Have used them constantly over 5 years and still good.
Tempted by those ebay ones though if they use something more insulating than the thin silver bubble stuff I used.
edit...
Or I could just ad another layer of silvered bubble wrap as Casper suggests.
When I made them I didn't expect them to last long. I thought the bubbles would quickly burst. Surprisingly, despite folding and stuffing away into storage, they haven't.

I haven't done mine yet, but have loads of that 5mm foam insulation left and am planning to use that since it has the foil on it. Will probably use velcro to stick it down.
