Hi there wonderful people, I purchased a 2006 Citroen Dispatch 2.0 hdi van(last of old shape) about a month ago . It had had a new alternator fitted. Unfortunately it meant that the original radio that was fitted now needs a code to wake it up again. ANY IDEAS as to how i can get the right code to enter into it so i can use it????
Many thanks

Mine is 2004, similar and I had to go to dealers in person (don't remember if must, but had V5) to get the code (at a price £xx(?? Don't remember exactly)) with no guarantee, that it'll work, in case radio was changed... Only to have lost the code and next time anything of the sort would need be done- I'll end up with no radio or new radio...

Mine was written on the sun visor what was a bonus and had others its been written on the side/top or radio. Failing that try an online number generator.

Again failing that you can get Chinese head units for as little as 3 quid on ebay that play USB, Bluetooth and even some are DAB

I discovered that if your Clarion radio had a barcode sticker, there was a number on it you could use and you could generate a code ..............
But if it didn't you were snookered ..............
Our local Scrapie could usually decode radios for a fee ... Otherwise ...............
There is more than one version [age probably] of the type of Clarion fitted to the mk1 van, although they look the same.............
My 306, saxo, IIRC The 106 company car I used and 206. every thing PSA in that ERA probably optioned them ................
It's been a while since I've had an issue plus I've writen down codes on post it notes for them and got rid of a couple that were rendered usless .................
