2008 Citroen Dispatch door open
My dispatch has taken to telling me via morse code that the drivers door is open.
Why there needs to be an electronic device to tell me if the door next to me is open or not i don't know... It's clearly shut!
Is there a decent fix for this? I've already tried smacking the locking mechanism with a screwdriver handle, repeatedly and this mitigated the disco mode but it's back again.

After threatening to set fire to the van due to the constant beeping, it then decided it would refuse to lock...
I had to fork out for a new lock mechanism and that has resolved the problem completely! Thank fook for that!
The good news is I have the old mech, so rather than bin it i'm going to see if there's a way to strip it down without destroying it so we can see if there's a way to fix these units rather than having to replace them (or hit them repeatedly with a screwdriver handle)
