Brake lights

Hi guys i have a citroen dispatch 2.0hdi 2004 my brake lights suddenly stopped working tonight, no idea why but totally no reason for it.
Any help or suggestions appreciated. yikes

Check bulbs.
Check fuses.
Check wiring with a test bulb and a brick on the brake pedal.

That should give you an insight in where to look further.

Look up under the dash at break peddle. You will have a plunger type switch what tends to be screw up/down to adjust. It may have vibrated loose or wire plug fell off

I had this problem a few years ago.
The body of the brake light switch was loose in the mounting, when you pressed the brake it pushed the switch out of the mount.
I think I used a blob of silicone sealant to keep it in place.
