Radiator bleed screw points for 2000 Citroen Dispatch

Hi there people...I'm quite new and really enjoying reading on this site. I have a 2000 (V reg) Citroen Dispatch with th 1.9 diesel engine and I can't for the life in me find the radiator bleed screw points. I've poured over video after video and forum after forum trying to find the same but the only ones I've found arent quite the same engine. I'll attach a picture below to show you which engine I have shortly. Id really appreciate help and pictures (better still videos on this) thank you.

I struggled to find one too! I just took the bottom radiator hose off

Hi there.....I've found the bleed points with the help of my favourite local mechanic. smile

Basically on my specific vehicle, there is one radiator bleed screw point on the top passenger side of the radiator matrix unit. It's a black plastic twistable screw with 'Valeo' written on it, and the second bleed point is underneath a thick hose coming out from the coolant fill tank (just after the point where you put coolant in the system).

Hope that makes sense......I can provide photos if that's useful for anyone?

Interesting, I don't have that on my radiator. Actually the bottom of my radiator only has a connection on the driver's side

Apart from never having to change a Radiator etc yet or the need to empty out system as yet.................
I would also probably find it difficult to bleed system ... As I've never seen any bleeders when under there .............
But I've never looked either! ........................

There is quite a bit of variation even between just DW8 engines.....I'm still not certain if mine is the DW8 B variant or not (there is A and B).
I did see some good directions on one site for another slightly different engine o wonder if yours is the same?

If you take a picture of the whole under-bonnet/under-hood area I'll try and find out where your bleed points are. smile

In answer to your question ................. YES
I have a 2000 W reg Peugeot 306 and it's fitted with a DW8 and a Bocsh pump engine code WJZ .................
The van's a 2005 with a DW8B and a lucas pump [Delphi] engine code WJY..........
The van has some computor input on it's engine the 306 is all mechanical............
IIRC ... The Van has a wire coming off the fourth injector.................

I believe some late 90's and very early 2000 Dispatch's and prefacelift Berlingo's got a DW8...........
Don't think any of our vans got Bocsh pumps but some MK1 Berlingo's did but I think it was pot luck as well as 306's .............
