Changing timing belt & water pump on 1.9D Citroen Dispatch

Hey there folks just wondering if anyone has changed the timing belt and water pump on a 1.9D Citroen Dispatch or similar?  Is it difficult or relatively simple or do you have directions for a manual to do it?

I've been tinkering with my cooling system it does get get warm inside for a little while but then is cold again.  I'm starting to wonder if it's because the water pump isn't working properly as I've also realised there doesn't seem to be a release of pressure when I take the coolant filler cap off as you would expect when the engine has been running for a while.

It also makes sense for me to change the timing belt if this is going to be changed as they're near each other and I make a habit of having the timing belt changed on almost all my vehicles just to be safe.

I don't know for the 1.9, but JohnDragonMan posted saying it wasn't too hard.  I think if you do it as a checklist, it's not the hardest thing to do.  But you have to have some idea of how to do it.

I found a video (in Czech) that might be worth a watch.  Its a timing belt change on the 1.9 engine.

Timing belt change on a 1.9D Peugeot Partner.  Seems very in-depth.

JohnDragonMan's video, although for a 2.0, might be useful as an overview.

It's good practice to change water pump when doing the timing belt kit especially if your unsure of history ...............
It's a relatively simple straight forward job................

Just the usual tight on space...............

I had a heater that went cold on idle a good many moons ago it was a diesel engine not a PSA one but a Perkins.............
I was hoping it was something like a thermostat..................
No signs of overheating or the likes ..................
It turned out to be a failed head gasket..................

Yet I had a V8 Perkins in a Ford Cargo that blew all the water out .......................
Flatened the hoses and was burning my feet through shoes when I was standing on engine to find that the fan had exploded  ... Taken out most of shroud and gone through radiator .......................
But never touched engine during repair and we drove it for countless miles for about next three years ................................
