I finally managed to source a single front seat for my van after removing the bench seat. Same year, slightly higher model, excellent condition. £20 and it made my day.
When I removed the bench seat the rear bolts came out with ease. The front bolts were seized after a couple of turns- so in my frustration I took the heads off with an angle grinder just to get the seat out. I’m a Brute force kinda gal when I get frustrated and I needed that bench seat out badly for reasons I won’t detail right now.
With a little more time and patience I’ve managed to get the remainder of the bolts out with some magical Jenolite.
Now I need new front bolts. They are smaller than the rear and have no idea what size thread I need to buy to replace them.
I know in theory I could go back and forth to Screwfix/local Autostore, but since I live in the arse end of nowhere, it’s a day trip for a single journey.
Any idea what size I can just call ahead and ask for??? The remains of the current ones look like shrapnel from a military exercise gone wrong. Im looking for thread size.
Any ideas?

Mine were similarly a bitch to get out. I'm not sure how much this helps, but here's a picture of my bolt. I don't have a known nut to try it with right now
