What size tyres

Hi All,
Looking to get my tyres replaced and a little confused as when i type in my REG on Black circles it comes up with 215/65 R15 104 but checking the tyres on my van they are 195/70 R14 91H ?
What do people recommend for my 2005 1.9d Dispatch camper conversion so not used as van anymore so would i still need high load tyres for insurance reason?

Not got loads of money to spend so any recommendations would be great.

Wouldn't recommend messing with load or size of tires, be it bit of a pain money wise. Having had my van empty and 38 PSI in tires it still seemed almost flat at the bottom, once parked on an uneven ground. Obvious cataclysmic insurance issue apart, those massive tyres is part of suspension design and you might end feeling like driving a kart or a shopping trolley if you alter those sizes too much

I've had 3 different sizes across my 4 similar vehicles:

- Synergie and 806 had 205 65 R15
- White 1.9D had 195 70 R14
- Blue 1.9TD had 215 55(I think) R15

I know you can also get 16" alloys from Alfas too

I wouldn't worry either way

I wanted lower rev's (and perhaps fuel consumption) and comfort. I could lay hands on 4 Alfa rims for only 55 Euro. And fitted 185 80 R15. It's a snug fit and comfortable indeed. Speedometer is some 3 km/h pessimistic.
I should introduce myself. I bought this blue Jumpy nearly a year ago, passed MOT the other day with only a rear brake cylinder piston which was stuck. Year 2000, 295 kkm, 1.6 l rare petrol engine (it's a Fiat engine) with Bosch mono point injection. I live in Maastricht and in France, 1 week per month. I am busy with a camper conversion (I bought it with camper license already). And an LPG disk tank underfloor.

Bit late, but for what it's worth, stick with the factory recommended sizes. There is usually a sticker in the sill or the door, with the tyre size and pressures. Dont just go for the size of the fitted tyres, the previous owner may have gone for unsuitable ones.

i put slightly wider tyres on my van by 10mm.. i like the idea of more rubber contacting the road surface. its something i have always done.

i also bought the best tyres i could. Michelin Agilis CrossClimate

heh thats nothing, you should see what i have on my old Fiat panda. original tyres were 135/80/r13.. now they have 175/60/r13 i did change the rims though to the nice Weller 8 spoke type. they never rubbed!

ahh man i need to get that car back out. its been locked away in the garage now for 8 years sad hell i was not in work the last time i driven that car.
