Drivers Seat frame replacement

Hi all,
I have an issue with the frame on my drivers seat. It is like a spring is broken on the right side of the base, and the seat is not attached to the frame, and keeps diving and squatting. Is it better to just get a whole new seat, or just look to replace the seat frame? Also, any recommendations on replacement foam for the base of the seat? All advice very welcome.

Re: Drivers Seat frame replacement

I think I would be checking the scrapyards for a replacement.
A decent one might be expensive but replacing and recovering foam could be even more.

Re: Drivers Seat frame replacement

Thanks for the feedback. I have had a look in a few breakers, and all the seats are in rag order, so I think I am looking at the Foam base replacement for the seat base, but will be getting the whole drivers seat to replace my one, unless there is a list of other seats that will fit? Anyone started a thread on that?

€100 is expensive, but probably cheaper than a trip to the Chiropractor.
