I have a 2016 Citroen Dispatch 2.0. The blower is blowing air but it's cold air. Temperature gauge needle is getting up to half way on the dial. One garage told me it was the matrix, long story short I took it in to be fixed and they told me that they couldn't get hold of one. They said they had the dash out etc but had to put it back together seeing as they couldn't get a matrix. My Dashcam footage showed otherwise. They started it up and left it running for an hour and gave up.
I've been thinking about connecting a hosepipe to the inlet and outlet of the matrix and giving it a flush. The only problem is I can't reach that far into the engine to uncouple the pipes. If I could reach them I think I'd have to be lay in the engine compartment. One question, how do the connections undo? Is there a knack to it?
Thanks for reading.

No idea what connectors they have on the 2016 model. Is it the metal circle with two tabs coming out of it?If so you get a pair of pliers and slip a thousand times until eventually you get it and pull them along those hose
These made my life so much easier: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CNWOOAIVE-Plie … B08PYZ9P9D
How annoying that they lied about what they did. Guessing never going back there lol

Thanks for your reply. Here are some pictures of the connections. Hopefully someone can help me.

You might be able to get at the
other end of one pipe where it connects to the engine or thermostat.
I'd be tempted to flush the heater first, then run the engine for a day with a flushing additive, then a thorough rinse and refill with coolant.
(there will be a sequence of air bleeding when you refill, each time)
