Mirror fold, rear door lock -Fuses footwell - solution - Dispatch 2014
Recently, mirror fold and rear door central locking unlock not working. (rear door CL locking ok). Found both related to corroded fuses beside battery in footwell, which had been getting wet. Maybe others looking for why lock and mirror fold not working. Made a plastic cover over fuses. Standard flat blade fuses 5A mirror, 10A unlock, 15A lock.

also, it might appear similar issue, like most MK1 vans have- water ingress https://dispatchexpertscudo.org.uk/foru … hp?id=1780
Perhaps digging in what causes it may suggest better cure to the problem?

Yup... if water is getting in there it needs stopping. Have you checked under the carpet?
