07 Dispatch Blower doesn't work in cold weather

Hi all

I have a 07 Dispatch and it appears that for some reason when the weather is cold - i.e we have a frost overnight the internal blower won't work at all on all 4 speeds

When the weather warms up a bit the blower works fine on all 4 speeds / warm and cold etc as its should - I haven't as yet been able to work Sr what temperatures this happens at exactly!

Has anyone come across this before?

Is it a Mk1 or a Mk2? I wonder if it's the speed slider (if Mk1) but I assume given you're mentioning 4 speeds it's probably the Mk2 model?

At a guess, it could be old oil in the bearings gone hard, or (less likely) worn brushes.

On the bright side, it's not too bad removing the glove box (assuming yours is a Mk 2 and RHD, like mine).

Thanks for the replies - it is a mk2 but guess blower is going to need to be removed / replaced
