I bought what I thought was a service manual for the expert 2006
from that Ebay and got this
TBH not quite sure what I got, it looks like dealer info on all manner of pugs
it runs it under windows XP in a virtual machine and contains all manner of stuff
some of which may be very useful for all I know.
its says it has repair info and wiring diagrams and such too
I did find the sliding door fix and setup procedure so the may be other useful stuff
but its bit clunky to use unlike say a PDF
heres some screen pics, what do you think?
anyone want copy? its a hefty 13GB

1- bargain
2- explains why no-one has made each individual van simple .pdf copy
3- what to do with it? Not a clue TBH, clearly to rip and upload not exactly small, perhaps to pay web hosting server, but, but , but...
Personally not sure, if I can run VM on my PC, thanks for a very kind offer none the less
Even though, I've got CD-ROM, I'm slightly bemused the size of it being 13gb, DVD's were up to 8gb or something, unless that's fully installed size on HD, you was quoting.

It was a 13GB compressed zip file to download and now almost 20GB unzipped, most this taken up by 31 vmdk files
where all the data is.
If it was just expert/dispatch/scudo stuff it would be a fraction of this and I'm annoyed at being mislead by the description
which I took to mean it was 2006 Expert etc data only.
Its slow to use, you have run vmware to load the files in XP 32 bit mode and then input vehicle ID stuff like a VIN and or RPO numbers and it takes a while to get to anything useful.
There is also a Wiring diagram section and while it may well have some good stuff, it's a bit of a chore to use.
the diagrams are in svg format so I have to copy them to a USB stick to transfer them to my win10 partition
then I can use Adobe Illustrator to convert them to jpgs.
I'm pretty good at PC stuff but new to using virtual machines, luckily one of my lads is very good at this stuff
and I'll ask him for cunning wheezes to get the best out of it and how best to extract just the stuff I need if possible.
I'm too busy to spend much time on it right now but when find way to get to the good/useful stuff, I'll post it up
I think it has data on models up to circa 2013

Perhaps. But on this board it always is down to long standing members to help out people with questions from personal experience and knowledge. Most 9f the threads do "slide" somewhat, nice of you to consider.
Zip
Not sure if it's DL or torrent or else, I'll be home by 6,30, I'll give it a shot to DL, try get something/anything useful out of it. Thinking off my old laptop is deff x86 w7, I might have had a blank partition on it, if bootloader will allow it, to install old XP in full, that'll be a blast!
Mind you with my internet "speed"- crawling like sloweness it'll be ready for whenever in the morning.
If you have the DL link and willing to share that is! Or PM me, for fun at least

I'm outside playing with a scooty atm but will see if I can upload it to google drive
as that has a 15GB limit
if it works I'll pm you a download link

Upload started, it will take ages I expect as uploads are much slower than downloads
its saying it will take 3 hours

ONLY 3 Hrs, you must tell me your lottery numbers for Sat then (and your post code), where I live (in the sticks) that would've been 24hrs or more, if at all possible. I'm lucky, if I get 6MB/s Dl and 2MB/s up

Right, it uploaded in 2hr25min near as, have sent you link which I hope works
if it does the installation instructions are included and it installed on my win10 PC

well, well, well on VM not finding no vehicles by VIN
Got XP loaded, doesn't recognise the .img file to load up either
Could be the activation, that sort off says registers etc, but long story short
It beat me!

Those svg files are in fact svgz (zipped) files. Renaming them might make them viewable. I think they fixed this in later versions. Heres the version I use https://dispatchexpertscudo.org.uk/foru … 7424#p7424

Nope, what's been done is to rip the database in to VM files, that are only viewable on particular VM, what I thought (hoped) it would've been .img file, I could have mounted it XP burner, but it doesn't recognise it as none image file format.
So back to the W10 (x64) and XP VM (x86 or x32 depending on understanding), but I get it to load up to vehicle selection, that inputting VIN is needed, but it doesn't load any...
In the way it's clever, that rip is mounted via XP environment, so not exactly big deal from copyrights perspective, but
it's stupid, that the files aren't possible to view in any other way, even they are there, not hidden, but locked to the only "supplied" XP VM

@RegW
give this one a spin
https://picpick.app/
@tee_cee
on this version it's 9.6.2 VM built in English
Makes me think-try to load this package VM, but to try to open your database...
Bottom line, I'll try to do screen recorder on each page in one archive like

the VM/XP bollox I paid for and downloaded works for me but its clunky and slow.
As far as wiring diagrams go this is the best I can find so far
No cable colours, devices have numbers but where is the legend
to tell me what they are?
I can work out some OK but a device list would damn well help
when looking at more complex systems
BB00 is the battery obs
1020 alternator
1030-8048 for instance are relays
1030 is activated when the engine starts/runs
8052 looks like the main blower
controlled by 8043 which takes a variable voltage input from
8025 pin 6 to run some kind of PWM I'll guess with a straight through option for full whack, why the led?
I see no reference to the heat flap control in the only heater wiring diagram
I can find
Not exactly useless but bloody annoying so far.
Here's the page had to copy via usb stick from svg to pdf then jpg for
a smaller quicker size to upload

The wires are numbered - if you can read them
The legend info is here, but it takes a bit of time to get the gist

Aha ! Thanks Tee Cee, that is certainly very useful
I've bookmarked and downloaded it.
Is this typical Citroen/PUG/Fiat? its a new system to me but
that page means I can make sense of it

I've reinstalled the VM/XP/SEDRE thing and started saving most the wiring diagrams/schematics/install svg pics for this model year and spec to a USB stick.
Now that tee cee has pointed me to the info page, I can make better sense of them and will start converting them to PDFs soon
and annotate them as i build my own manual bit by bit.
I'll also see if I can find the service and repair procedures its supposed to have, I have seen ones for setting the side doors up and the cambelt procedure so it may well have plenty more.
I found I could also print pages directly from the Virtual machine which may be handy for some
but I want digital files I can edit and annotate at the moment.
I still have it on my google drive if anyone else wants to download and play with it.

Of course
I cant see an email link to send the link direct so try this for starters
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BJMN6W … drive_link
IIRC I have be logged into Google to enable the share to go ahead so you may have to give me time to get it together
as it's not my primary email account
It does work and I've installed it twice now
the initial boot in the VM/XP takes few minutes to load from Win10 but once loaded it's not too bad to use
I haven't tried to input a VIN yet but can get the wiring info once I input the RPO
which is on a sticker on my drivers door, in my case 10829
an earlier model will have lower number.
I got mechanical info without having to input a VIN, just vehicle specs
