Hello, I have a 2014 Dispatch that has sat for a couple months and I need to get it MOT ready, took it for a drive and its coming up with an ABS fault / traction control light, guessing its just a sensor. Issue is I dont know which side and I dont have the correct scan tool for it.
So my question is what tool do I buy for this as someone who just needs to do basic maintenance work. Never worked on newer french stuff before.
Thanks alot.

Lexia 3 Full chip (+ w x32 (x86) capable laptop) is best to have a full diagnostic and management
All other work only to a degree and including professional scanners.
I'll PM you a link to Pug Planet diagnostic owners map. Contact them directly

BIG set up and yes, you'd need live paid thingy, but people get around on other people accounts or.... use the maps, I posted, ask one of them to test it for you.
I've got one of them ELM320 or something and it can't do sh*t, doesn't even connect properly

So I picked up a scanner that works with the van.
I'm getting a C0040 Code "brake pedal switch fault coherence with the pressure sensor coherence"
Light doesn't come on till I release the handbrake and press the brake pedal, brake lights still work.
When I press the pedal I get "ESP ASR system faulty" "ABS System faulty"
What would be causing this?

Excess and unnecessary technology designed and probably programed to increase servicing income for main dealers?

Ha! The fact that it shuts down the whole ABS system just for 1 switch is insane.
Getting a new switch today will see if that works (please god dont make me work on this for one more day)
