Unidentified Hoses

Hi Dispatch fixers!

2016, 2Ltr Euro5 engine (I think!)

I've noticed a potential issue with 2 small hoses in the engine compartment. They were just loose, dangling down. The upper one starts from a point at the top rear of the engine, the lower one from an unidentified point beneath the engine. Both are flexible about 12mm. The upper one can be seen running alongside at the left hand side of the main Air Filter.

Anyone know if this is normal, or could take a comparison look? Maybe just breather pipes?

A short while ago, a garage made a front bodywork repair and did not re-install the plastic engine shield under the front of the van. Don't know if this is significant.

Van runs fine except for some exhaust issues.

I can see the upper one, but no sign of the hose at the bottom 2.0 ATV 2015

Thanks tee_cee. Does the upper hose go anywhere (you can see) or connect to anything, or is the visible end just open and 'hanging'?
