2005 Dispatch 2.0HDI - P0190 + P0380

So after the sucess of getting my van back going I've decided to investigate into an issue I've had since I've got the van 4 year ago

EML light is always illuminated (apart from when i take bulb out for MOT)

Codes read

P0190 - Fuel rail pressure sensor A circuit

P0380 - glow plug heater circuit A

The van sounds lumpy and is in a ½ limp mode doesn't pull over great up hill and it's not very quick off the mark. Almost like a 2.0 flat diesel with no boost....limp mode.

So,

Fuel filter gets done every 6 month during service

In tank pump has been changed recently from trying to cure a non stater - now solved and loads of low pressure there....like a tap

No diesel leaks

Seals okay on Fuel filter housing

Is it worth just throwing a fuel rail pressure sensor on?

If nothing comes from this I'll get it into a garage and go from there.

Any help appreciated

how did you change the tank pump?  do you have to drop the tank?

Make sure you're tanks near on empty makes its easier....

It's held in on a cradle with 3 bolts. 2 at "front" and 1 at the rear  I managed to drop the front 2 bolt and that gave enough give to do it, abit fiddly. There is a video on youtube where the guy drops the full tank with in depth instructions as well
