Quiet here, is no news good news?

It is for me luckily as mine is currently running fine. touch wood.
All I've had to do recently is fit a new pair of wiper blades
the new heater core makes it toasty in the cab, I hardly need to run the fan
to get it comfy.
I am musing over fitting some decent LED lighting in the cargo area now its often dark and dismal
this time of year, but mostly playing with  the old bike

Re: Quiet here, is no news good news?

Well I kinda have good news, I have a new sub frame and cross memeber installed. Which is a story all on its own (I'll post it in a bit)
Glad your heater is now working.

I too was thinking about installing more lights inside to help me loading and unloading the missus' Mobility scooter (Help me see what im doing with the seat belts/tie downs for it)

Also playing with the idea of external lighting, buy a roof rack and attach some light bars or something again for aid for my missus when we are loading/unloading her scooter as some supermarket/pub car parks have naff lighting.

I also though about hooking what ever lights I put on the rear to the reverse light, as we live out in the sticks with no street lights.

Only at the idea stage at the moment, not really looked into it

Still off the road here.  My subframe woes have turned into a nightmare.

On top of that health and family issues have stopped me from getting on with it.
Considered buying something else to keep mobile while I sorted it but nothing apeals for the money I have.
I recon for every 200 "normal" sized vans out there, there are only two or three "our" size.

Re: Quiet here, is no news good news?

I've been slowly ramping up my amount of WVO I've been putting in mine, barely notice the difference aside from the smell and slight drop in power

Was told last week "it's pretty good running considering its age". Can't say I disagree

Another bit of good news, I learned that Calor have resumed supplying the 3.9kg/4.5kg bottles! I thought I was doomed to have to pay the exorbitant Campingaz prices
