Scudo Engine Type

Hi!

I've recently bought a 54 registered Scudo which needs, among other things, an oil cooler and, for safety's sake, a cambelt change. According to the owners handbook it is fitted with a 1,9D engine, code WJZ. However, on inspection of the engine block I found the following

PSA VJY
10DXFP
Engine no. - which matches the V5

What engine do I actually have?

Thanks!

Re: Scudo Engine Type

If your CC is

1905 - XUD9 aka 1.9D
1868 - DW8 aka 1.9D (also)
1997 - DW10 aka 2.0 HDi

This page talks about a WJY 10DXFP and that's definitely a DW8

I documented replacing my oil cooler on that engine years ago: https://frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/view … hp?t=58040

1999 Citroen Dispatch 1.9D DW8 Disassembled Camper Conversion

Re: Scudo Engine Type

Hi kenbw2

Mine is the 1868cc so DW8 should be right. Thanks for that! The parts search begins.....
