Hi All

Hi everyone!
New member here, although I've owned my Expert for 10 years.
I bought it as a stopgap and ended up keeping it, although it's been off the road for a fair while.
My son was little when I bought it and we spent many happy weekends in the van with his quad bike. He's a teenager now and is really keen to fix up the old Expert and get it on the road.
We spent the weekend getting it running and giving it a clean and all seems good except for the front subframe has dissolved!
I'm pretty competent when it comes to spannering and work as a fabricator so I'm keen to fit a new subframe, but does anyone have a rough guide as to how to replace the subframe?
Hopefully it'll be back on the road soon!
Cheers, Richard

Re: Hi All

At this point in life, none of these vans are "worth" fixing, but I don't let that stop me

Re: Hi All

I’ve just bought a Front suspension sub frame (for my Scudo) from Hawk Parts, £274 delivered - my trusted local garage is going to fit it - (I’ve not yet asked how much they charge !

At least they're relatively simple to work on!

I was looking at those as a possible supplier for my subframe. I'd be interested to know how it fits.
Best of luck with your subframe swap!
