After some advice off a forum member who has previously removed the trim panel from the tailgate. Essentially the trim panel on my Jumpy has missing trim clips which flaps when driven making an awful noise
In removing to investigate the issue, the panel is mounted in to nylon grommets however the two on the RHS (top and bottom) is a 20mm round hole rather than the elliptical hole to allow for nylon nut to fit
My question is how is the elliptical nylon nut is fitted to tailgate on the right handside, strangely the LHS has the correct shape stamped holes

I think OP just means the rear doors. Various panels in these vans are held in by plastic pieces you screw into
