I changed my gearbox oil on my 2.0 2014 Toyota Proace (same as the Dispatch) today.
Approx 1.9 litres came out and 1.9 of new oil went in. Was a really easy job aside from not being able to find the gearbox level drain plug to double check it wasn't overfilled.
Could anyone point me in the right direction. Here's a photo of the side of the gearbox from the wheel arch which I was told it was where I could access it. On the 1.6 I believe it's adjacent to the drive shaft but no bolt at all on this one. It's the gearbox with the external fins viewable underneath.

I can't see how to rotate the image so it's on it's side. The rust treatment is my next job.

I would wait for confirmation before trusting me but...
I think if no level plug or no dipstick present, it's supposed to be up to the bottom of the fill hole.
Trouble is you often can't see it so I would just fill till it drips.

Thanks for that! I put exactly the same amount of oil in that drained out, maybe a little more actually so I'm not overly worried but tomorrow I'll check to see if it's up to the bottom of the fill hole. So literally fill it very slowly until it starts to drip over the top?
After draining I also replaced the copper washer with a dowty one (the ones made from steel with a rubber ring in the middle), I've heard many mechanics replace the copper ones as they go with this type. From what I've read it's recommended as they form a superior seal?
That seems to be what the Haynes video on youtube said also but there's a couple of variants of these gearboxes and I wouldn't want to have to replace it anytime soon.
These are great vans and I'm enjoying learning how to do various service jobs.

Ok so I checked the fill plug and put a little more in. I've put a total of 2.1 litres in but it still doesn't drip over the top. I'm a bit nervous as only about 1.8 litres came out and this was on a slightly backward tilt to make sure I got all of it.
Has anyone filled this version of gearbox at all? From what I gather it should be 1.9 litres.
