Found this cable hanging inside my front RH side wheelhouse. When checking the LH wheelhouse I can't se any cable.
Does anyone know where it's supposed to go. I reckon it went somewhere sometime.

Don't think my 98 is equipped with that. But it crossed my mind as well...

My 2000 has it. Or rather it did until that plug caused me more hassle than it was worth
I'm 80% sure it's the brake pad sensor. Does the bottom of the wire go towards your brake caliper?

I reckon it's the pad sensor wire too.
Mine failed the MOT because the thing just dangling about ( as well as some welding of course)
and it was easily tidied up.
Insulate both cables if/when you trim it as if they're shorted together, this will trigger an alarm light on the dash

Yeah, checked the other side and it was just cut higher up.
So apparently it had sensors once upon a time.
