2015 Toyota Proace - Rear van door locking issue

Hello,

First post in this forum but very active in other forums (Motorhomes and RV's).

Hope you can offer some advice please.

2016 Toyota Proace - same as Dispatch and Partner I am told.

Rear van doors - previous owner disconnected the big multi plug in the rear pillar (drivers side) forcing you to lock the rear door with key.

I can access and reconnect the plug - pictures below hopefully - but when i use the key fob i hear the lock Close and then Open - bit like if you had a front door slightly open in a car to warn you "this isn't locked!" Check the other doors.

So what should I investigate?

There is also a smaller plug dangling in the same pillar and I do not see anywhere for this to go at all?
