Have both sides failed? I had one side fail, so I glued that side in. Worked fine with just one side locking.

Re: Glove Box door

I've been looking for one for some time now and as said looks like plastic welded .......
I've posted and asked on the find a part thingy Without any luck of finding one.............
This suggests to me that the shortage is because  [prone to failing] and are No unbroken ones.........

Or breakers discard them as there never sold..........
Either way although never seen one for sale on eB** [but have for other models] I think it's time to ask a few taxi breakers there for assistance..........

Re: Glove Box door

I have one with the inboard latch snapped of.  I think the hinges and outer latch work ok though.

Can't put my hands on it just now but will have a look tomorrow.

If it's any good you can have it for the postage.

Re: Glove Box door

I managed to pick one up from a breakers last week with a broken latch pin
It's raining today so I've sat with a coffee and a flat blade screwdriver and I can report I've managed to split one to get inside to the mechanism it's not difficult at all
I started down by the hinge and just worked my way around leaving the bottom till last just take your time
Both the latch rods are identical so I've removed the unbroken one to see if I can get one 3D printed very simple mechanism inside it's just a cam with the rods operating by friction
I know this post is a few tears old but it might inspire someone to do there own repair as these boxes area like rocking horse poo
I'll update on this if I succeed with this venture if I do it'll then be time to do the one on the van instead of the one I brought to practice on
