Pair of Rear Door Steadies/Check Straps Wanted
Rear Door Steadies/Check Straps Wanted
Fair price paid if anyone has any spare.
Are they identical left and right or are they handed?
I can get some of ebay if no one has any.

That is the sort of stuff you put in your inside pocket at the scrap yard. Get back on ebay and search for say Peugeot Expert Breaking and fire away e mails. Repeat for Scudo and Dispatch.

I already had them lined up on ebay. Just thought that if someone had a pair I might give them £20 rather than someone on ebay.
Anyway, I went and bought them but now suspect they won't fit without some serious hacking of my cupboards.
This pic shows the clearance. The other side is not so bad.
I knew I would have to cut for the mountings but didn't think about the actual stay! 
Might need a horrible great slot. 
How far do these "stays" stick out from the doors when closed?

They dont if we are talking about the black wire things that stop the door folding back and slapping the side of the van. When you shut the door it slots inside the skin so dont pack that area out with insulation.
