Auxiliary battery charging circuit

Hi
I have bought a 30A auto switching combination relay (smart charging relay) to charge an auxiliary battery in the back of my van. The auxiliary battery will run some internal led lighting.
I have connected the 12v connection on the unit to the battery positive, and have connected the 0v connection to the vehicle earth (chassis). What connection do I use from the remaining ones (6,4 or 2) to charge my auxiliary battery, and is it a straight forward connection to the auxiliary battery positive?
Many thanks

Ricko

Re: Auxiliary battery charging circuit

Did it not come with a wire diagram? I take it you were tight and got the Brocott one at 15 quid odds. I went for the slightly dearer one from smartcom what came with the wires and simple wife can do it diagram.  Looks like 2 and 6 is switched on yours. Ill presume that is it cuts out when the battery is charged and the unsitched (4) is for your fridge or coolbox.

Re: Auxiliary battery charging circuit

It came with a diagram but the connections were for the 12S socket, I got it from Towsure. It was connection 2 that was needed for the aux battery.
Cheers
