Hoy, cheeky F****r
I was not going to ground it as i had read a few horror story where people had live vans
My thinking was why bother as it wont be earthed anyway sitting on four tyres but going for this when i get round to it
I will also be adding a earth at each plug for some overkill and change the circuit breakers to 10ah as the six are crap however, got a few holes to fix up first

Cheers for the link. Looks big doesn't it?
I will follow your progress with interest. Do you have a deadline?
Also, been meaning to ask you... can you recommend any breakers between the border and Edinburgh? Old fashioned walk about ones if poss.

Aye its large but i think when the bed is down we might not have as much room as we think. I have almost six foot wide and 12 long but i will be 8.5 with a length of bed and kitchen area across the back doors. The end of the bed/sofa one can sit facing forward at a table and the driver seat will be swivel so that should keep DVLA happy with that request. Drop leaf table.
You did notice that link was page two?
I only know scrap yards round Edinburgh and the main two like what you want. One is in Loanhead just south of Edinburgh

One opened up last year off the A71 at Camps Ind Est just past a place called Wilkinson. 10 min from city bypass. No web site but its in the gate on the right. This picture must have been before they opened

Sports car brakers have a 2nd yard. When you get in look over far right you see a hill with a no entry sight. That is Latin for come up for a nose. That area is wall to wall vans and buses.
The last link at camps ind estate. They are cheap. That is where i got my two back doors for £50. Saying that it was SCB where i got my taxi roof lining for £20
After them your next closest would be over the bridge into Fife (Shudder)
Good Luck

Cheers for that C,
I will get up and have a look as soon as I identify which bits I need. No heater fan!
I will make a day of it and camp on the shore somewhere.

Hi guys, I went to SCB last week and there was nothing but 2 vans with not much left to remove. I was a bit hacked off as a few weeks previous there were loads.
