Water leak

After many months of trying to find the cause of the leak into the rear section behind the rear wheel i've traced it to the runner for the sliding door that goes across the middle of the body. Its just a small trickle but its stopping me from insulating that area. Has anybody else experienced this and if so whats the best way of dealing with it?

Cheers!

Re: Water leak

I wonder if the runner can be removed and replaced with some silicone sealant around and mounting holes??

It can. You have a cross beam that the runner sits in. From the inside you see large bolts in recesses running along it. undo and pull runner enough to gain access with silicon gun. If you can see any light shining through though consider running a weld along as the rust/metal will be thin and hole at a later date. This is also a job i had to do on my Convoy but i was lucky and sikaflex was enough.
