Spring time Van woe's

As we didn't get away last September to visit my Partners Father as per the Norm................ Down to some ongoing health issues.
The van has unusually Languished and done next to "F" all since Last MOT (AUG)

I did fit a LED light bar to the van in anticipation of the run down to Spain........... As I tend to drop the dip beam down a notch or 2 and it should help with main...........

Worryingly or maybe it's now due to age I noticed that the Stone chip that's put on the sill was starting to blister quite dramatically several small one on the N/S and also quite large at the rear of the sill on the O/S.
I thought they were holding water but apparently not and is still solid ..........so stone chips done and cured a bit...... but I've have no idea what's going on with it and now the weathers better just awaiting a date from the paint shop for it to go in and have it repainted ...........
Rather than squirt wax-oil this time they tell me their using something called Ankor wax?
Is this a consequence of not being driven much and not possibly drying out properly or washed much for that matter while standing about?

Also when we did bring van out of its semi hibernation found the leisure battery had given up the Ghost
On checking measurements and battery rating I was surprised to find it was only a 72AH ................
I was always lead to believe that aright heavy battery (weight) is a good test of longevity?
I bought a 90AH Leisure and marine battery that fitted the space and it weighed in at 18/20 kg
I could hardly lift out (from the restricted space) the original battery that was under the wardrobe .............
No idea what it weighs............ I then find out its a wheelchair AGM VRLA Gel whatever that means but also seems to be almost twice the price of the Gel one I bought and I thought it was getting pricey.................
We Then discovered the split charge wasn't working (Not charging Leisure battery)

The van is wired with a CBE PC100 power management system ............ turns out the trigger from the ignition had a blown/cruddy fuse therefore not kicking in the charge so looks like this also could have contributed to the Leisure battery demise..............

Oh no!
Still it'll keep you out of mischief fixing it all.
I still haven't finished wiring up my split charge etc.
I know what you mean about the sills though, I reckon I might to do a patch before the mot too!!
