5W40 fully synthetic

Hi, my local Home Bargains has got 5l of Unipart 5W40 fully synthetic oil in for £9.99
Can I use it in my 2.0 HDi Dspatch?

I use 5W40 fully synthetic in my 1.9 DW8 with no problems.

Half of it ends up on the floor like, but it does its job in the mean time.

5w40 is generally specced  for 2.0 Hdi's after about 2004. So should be absolutely fine.
