What happened to fuel prices in Europe?

I always look forward to going abroad, and enjoy the luxury of feeding my Dispatch actual diesel instead of veg, without the guilt of the high prices.

Just gone to check the AA site to see what to expect, and it's all upside down!

Diesel in the UK I expect to be somewhere around £1.27/litre. Europe's worse pretty much everywhere other than Luxembourg!

- France: €1.46/£1.28
- Belgium: €1.44/£1.26
- Luxembourg: €1.12/£0.97
- Germany: €1.28/£1.12
- Switzerland: CHF1.76/£1.35
- Italy: €1.52/£1.36

Ridiculous!

Dont think its went up that great a deal. They do get inflation as well  When i go over i dont look at fuel price that much as its just part of the holiday bill. I work out roughly how many miles i will do and take enough cash to cover that at UK prices. Luckily though when i do go over my first day is always Luxembourg for the cheap tobacco so fill up anyway.

Remember our £ dropped again. €1.10 when i was looking at the exchange last night.

The £ pound isn't worth a lot now, going to be a one pound for one euro shortly
