2005 Scudo JTD Single Seat Info

Hi All.
I posted awhile ago wanting a single seat for my Scudo. Well I have found a local breakers in Sheffield Who specialises in Scudo's Dispatch's & Experts, especially the Taxi versions.
I have just bought off them a Single Passenger seat with no rips or tear's with the box . Its not quite the same pattern, but for £35 I cant complain  .

Well done you. 35 quid is quite good. Think i paid around that also but i was lucky to find a random on ebay. Like you it was not a match but you dont look at the one your ass is sitting on anyway so never bothered me.

Swivel plates mate. They sit between your seat base and seat. Again i was lucky to find cheap ones dedicated to my seats on ebay what were a fraction of the price but not so lucky with my present van so i bought these plates.

Reason they are cheap is they are small so get the measurements and see if they will fit your base and your seat runners need to sit along the edge of the top lip. I was on as i made new bases to fit the swivel plate and just welded a cross beam to allow the seat runners to be bolted to that. Its quite easy if you have access to a welder. If you dont fancy that look at the sellers other items as im sure you will find plates that will fit your seat runner width. Good chance you will need to drill mount holes in the plate though.

Aye probably best phoning as when they list scudo/expert/dispatch they are probably talking about the later models. Just be armed with your measurements, being base bolt holes left to right and front to back. Think mine came off a Boxer what was quite close to Expert standard size.

Buying single dedicated swivels is almost double the price and there is a drivers and passengers side due to what way they turn. My linked pair swivel both directions. Here is there web site so see a larger choice
