Hi All!
Been lucky enough to buy my sweet Scudo bit over 2 month ago!
As it turned out I had about 6 weeks of nice dry weather here in the Scottish highlands(I life in Oban) Most beautiful area in the world!
So I got stuck in and started my build having no skills or tools!
It is not at all ready yet but is far enough to start using till I figure out the next piece of the puzzle..
So figured I show you all my progress so far, As I took it for 1 nighter as test I took the following pics.
Enjoy!!

Why is everyone on here from Scotland!!
My god, I'm so jealous of the colour of your van, it's gorgeous.
You don't need skills and experience to have a good time in your van. Just the enthusiasm and the realisation that it's never finished!
Looks like you had a good trip. The first of many.

Thanks all!
Aye bonny Scotland , with the right to roam act it is the perfect place to wonder about in a wee van!
Love these little vans , they are just perfect for this!
Next part of the project is plumbing in the tab( it is electric so have to figure out how to make it work)
and the leisure batteries , have 2 110 amp hour ( have to connect to car batt. and to live feed?).
these will power an inverter and a 12v cool box which is 40watt I think.
The switch panel I got has got 12v sig. socket so will be using that mostly as the inverter is not very efficient.

As A side note , Its funny with the colour I wanted a white one as they are practically invisible! but after looking for months this was the only one I could find that was anywhere near me(130 miles away)
I am even playing with the thought of painting it olive drab just because I have always wanted to do so with a van!

What do you mean by plumbing in the tab Fabs, Do you mean tap?
If so its probably a micro switched tap with two wires. One come from a live feed. The other to pump live and earth the pump. The idea is you turn the tap open what works the switch and sends power to pump, pumping water through the tap. Close tap kills switch and water to pump.

Hi Casper,
Aye meant tap, and cheers as I was not sure where to start with it as it came without instructions.
But what you wrote in your post makes sense now , seems pretty straight forward.
Thank All!

Got a friend in Cockburnspath who ran a chip van for a while. They would not let her in your town and had to sit in a layby on the edge. Still got a bit trade but how childish.
