Hi to All
Congrats on a great site
i just purchased a 2003 expert HDI one owner in good condition
and im wondering if someone could help me out on the following
i intend to turn it into a camper
so on my way home today i stopped at the local scrapyard
they have just taken in a Citroen C 8
so my question is , will the C 8 seats fit into the expert ?
and if so are they a straight swop ?
has anybody done this ? any pics ?
any help would be greatly appricated

Not sure what you mean. The only airbag I know about is on the steering wheel.

Hi Tee
is it a seat belt tensioner ?
a little electronic clip under the seat ?

Sorry, nothing on mine. Maybe somebody else knows what it's for.

Hi Tee
its a strange one , seems it is there , but a close look at it would suggest it has never been connected to anything
ordered the two C 8 Seats today { cheap as chips } £30 for the two
so happy days
now to find a swivel base for the passenger side c 8 seat
i will post a few pics over the weekend when i get started
also grabbed the dash cluster from another expert for £20 as i think they give trouble { having said that mine is good } but nice to have a spare , other thing i noticed while in the scrapyard , the expert in the scrapyard was on 195/70/15 tyres
seemed to sit a bit lower
mine is on 205/70/15 , i wonder is there any advantage to going to 195/70/15 as my tyres need changing
cheers

I have x2 195/65/15 and x2 205/60/15's currently on mine these sizes chosen I believe from conversion chart based on original 14" wheels on my van............As Kenbw2 states 205/65/15 is listed as a valid option in hand book

Tee another quick question
will the C8 Seats fit the existing bases of the expert seats { mine has two single seats , driver and passenger , no bench seat }
if they do it would save some work
as you were saying earlier about the bases , i had a quick look yesterday on the way home
and it looks but im not sure that they might fit the existing rails
i suppose the easiest way is wait and find out on saturday
thanks for all the help i appreciate it

No, the seats were different pitches. But the base to van floor were the same. Get your can of wd40 ready!
Some of the torx bolts have very little clearance, so I used vice grips with the bit
